Pretty sad to see that all of the announced new releases will be resin. Unless they’ll have open parts like the MP4/6
DS Team-I’m still waiting on my pre-orders from 2014 so I’m not holding my breath expecting these to be released anytime soon. Still, I think the quality you get for the price they charge is pretty good. I just pre-ordered their 1/12 scale McLaren P1 in Volcano Orange for under $300- and it’s even got opening parts! I also can’t wait for my 1/18 P1 in Amethyst Black also with opening parts . I doubt the paint will barely even compare to the real car’s paint job given the price but I’m hoping for the best. I would love for it to change it’s shade from black to dark purple under different lighting like the real one.
John the 1/12 P1 is resin and doesn’t have opening parts.
Then why does Toronto Motorsports show it like this? I bought it strictly because of that feature. See the 2nd picture.

They provided wrong information. That image should reference their 1:18 version here:

What happened to the 1:12 scale Gulf Porsche 917K and to the McQueen 1:12 & 1:18 figures?
