A slew of new material is available from Minichamps this week, with various scales and themes are touched upon.  The feature is the gorgeous 1:18 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC – Tourenwagen EM, driven by Heyer and Schickentanz at 4H Monza 1978.  The model is resin based and sealed, the question that remains to be answered, and is asked by many collectors, is why the excessive price point?
