Friends of the budget brand will appreciate the new release from Sun Star’s European Standards Collection. The 1:18 Lotus Elise 111S will be offered in Green and Yellow. Both are configured in right hand drive. Both models are due late July early August 2015.
That is a very old mold
Is Sun Star really a “budget brand”, as you say? True, it’s not quite up there with AUTOart – but considering that there are brands such as Maisto, and Bburago at the base who are vastly inferior to SS, and that most of SS’s models are beautifully detailed and carpeted – surely the title is a trifle unfair?
I’d put Sun-Star as a mid-range brand, with FX, and others in that vein.
Having said that, the Lotus does look rather cheap, especially compared to the other SS models like the Ford Model A Tudor.
