Well, there is a new player in town! AutoCult Models, based in Germany, is just about to release their first examples in 1:43 scale. AutoCult Models will specialize in prototypes, historic and rare vehicles. Each model will be offered in a display case and will be accompanied by a booklet with specific history on the car. The first three models include the German 1939 Schlörwagen “Götiinger EI”, as featured, along with the Italian 1947 ALCA Volpe, and French 1948 Alamagny “First Diamond”. Retail is suggested $99US with each model being limited to 333 pieces. ACME Trading Company is the official North American distributor. We’re confirming if the models are resin or diecast. We’ll post an update soon enough. Enjoy!
About the Schlörwagen “Götiinger EI”… “Ahead of its time, and experimental car was presented at the IAA show in Berlin. Nicknamed the Göttinger Ei, and built on the chassis of the Mercedes Benz 170 H, with its streamlined design achieved 20%-40% less fuel consumption and a 30% higher top speed.”
I have a license of Mr Bill buckle for making the Goggomobil Dart! I believe Auto Cult is making this car. This car is already made by me, does this Auto Cult have license to make this vehicle? I have invested a lot of money into making this model.
