Put this next to your Autoart and you’ll be sorry you ever bought one…
I’m no Z expert but something looks off with the AA stock wheels. They don’t seem to be wide enough and the wheel diameter seems to be smaller in relation to the tire wall thickness. If so this is a huge missed opportunity at the price point.
Just imagine the car above with opening parts… *drool*.
I have just gotten into this hobby back in 2014 and I started out with Otto resin models. I was looking for a model of my 1:1 vw R32 and Otto made one. I then bought as many of Ottomobile’s vw, audi, and bmw I could get my hands onto. Then I got into diecast and I have grown to prefer diecast 1/18 over resin, although I still by Gt Spirit, Bos, and Otto resin because they make european cars the others don’t always make.
The point of this reply is simply to ask; Is the trend going towards resin more and more? Is diecast dying a slow death? It seems new announcements for resin models out number diecast more and more? Kyosho and Minichamps seem to be going in that direction too. Just wondering….
This z looks amazing, but I still think the idea of diecast has more appeal to me with the opening bits. Especially if I am going to spend 150$ plus on a model.
