BBR Ferrari 250 Testarossa Winner Le Mans 1958

BBR introduces the #14 Le Mams Winner, Ferrari 250 Testarossa.  This beauty did race and win at the 1958 Le Mans Gran Prix.  Model is faithfully reproduced by BBR to extract the memories of the period.  Two versions will be issued, standard and premium with wood base and display.  Delivery is scheduled for November 2016.

About the Ferrari 250 Testarossa…  “The Ferrari TR, or 250 Testa Rossa, is a race car model built by Ferrari from 1957 to 1961 These cars dominated their competitors, with variations winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958, 1960, and 1961.  In all, thirty-four 250 Testa Rossas were built, from 1957 through 1961. The phrase “Testa Rossa” means “red head.” The most well known, the 250TR, was produced from 1957 to 1958; only 2 factory cars and 19 customer cars were built. After the 250 GTO, the 250 Testa Rossa is the second most valuable Ferrari model, often valued at more than US$8,000,000. A 1957 250 Testa Rossa sold on August 20, 2011 for $16,400,000, a new world record auction price for a car when inflation is ignored.”

Isn’t this already released in both standard and leather based with case versions?

    • Frank says:

BBR produces most models in 2 or more small batches but sometimes with a break of several years. They like to announce re-production as “new” so that everyone knowes you have another chance if you missed out.

  2. Mark says:

This car from BBR is out and already in shops from long time ago. Or is this a different version ? Thanks

  3. Philip Larsen says:

I bought one in June of 2015.

  4. Dean Freedlun says:

This is likely resin. Some years ago they built these in die cast and they were awesome! I do not like this resin trend.
