Auto World is on a roll with their 1:64 series. Their latest project is the 1964 Ford Country Squire in Dynasty Green Metallic. The level of detail is very unique for this scale, which is an achievement in itself. Images show the model in pre-production state. Auto World promise a little more refinement before heading to production. Model is tentatively scheduled for a Winter 2017 release.

This 64 Country Squire caught my eye as I’m always looking for station wagons to add to my diecast cars collection. The detail on this one is very good but it’s 1:64 scale makes it too small for my 1:18 cars. The only wagon I could find is a 1960 Country Squire, it’s one of my favorite. Why can’t I find a 1970s Country Squire, Colony Park or a Chrysler Town and Country. I believe that what ever company that would build one of these in 1:18 scale would sell thousands of them.
