On the topic of race, Paragon Models is expanding their assortment of Audi R8 racecars.  The latest addition is the 1:18 Audi R8 LMS- WRT 2015 Nürburgring P1.  Model is completed in sealed diecast metal.  No word on an official release date has been provided.
