The latest Mopar scale model from ACME is the 1:18, diecast metal, 1970 Dodge Challenger Trans Am in exterior named Plum Crazy.  The car also features Black hood and rear spoiler with Black decals through.  Plum Crazy is Plum right!   The release date is targeted for Febraury2019.  Suggested retail $139.95US.

    They look good, all the ACME street versions of Challeger and Barracuda Trans-Am 1970 race cars, but a street car should have at least two seats. Only one seat, that’s for race cars only!

    I got the blue Barracuda of this series (road versions of T/A cars), and while the presence is just spot on, they truly look awesome, but the quality of paint and materials are worse than original HWY61 models. As well as the new parts, such as the engine, fuel lines, are closer to cheap Greenlight models, well, the way they were before Greenlight acquired GMP/HWY61. You can feel the cheapness and economy on materials, for this kind of price that’s quite a dissappointment.
    Still, I’m totally sold by the way the model looks, and I’m probably getting this purple Challenger as well, despite the flaws.
