FINALLY! It´s been AGES since I pre-ordered this beauty. I am glad they are doing it in this very colour scheme. It suits the car well. Unfortunately, it will undoubtedly take forever before I receive mine. I haven´t even taken delivery of my (dirty version) Camel Trophy Land Rover. There is always months of delay for German customers as far as Almost Real models are concerned. But perhaps this only Minichamps´ abysmal service. (Err, by the way: Could it be that AR´s FB site is down?)
The splits on the doors are to large.

But I think also difficult to build with doors that can be open.
AMR can´t make competence to AA with models like this..
Glad for the people that love it, but in general… No hope to down AA prices..
Tread carefully, constantly grumbling about panel gaps is exactly what moved the hobby towards thinner than diecast plastic that is sold to us as improvement by the likes of AA. The tightest gaps are on sealed models (no gaps at all!) that have gained market shares, too. I have got the AR S-Class, it´s panel gaps are fine, so I believe AR will fix it. This is a pre-production sample!
