Sorry, more to report on the SUV front from Almost Real. Fans of the brand have some new models to enjoy in 1:64 and 1:43 scale. We”ll start on the 1:64 side first, the 9-Piece 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 and 90. Each piece is nicely detailed and is sold individually or by set. Suggested retail $26 US each or $234US for all nine. On the 1:43 side, Almost Real gives fans a first look at their version of the new Defender in 1:43 scale. Again, beautifully done.

So disappointing that these 1:64 are “blind box” models. I really wanted a 110 in any colour but black, wound up getting a 90… In black! To top it off the casting doesn’t align with the roof rack, which has been roughly glued in place during production and removing it once means you’ll need to glue it back on. Hardly ‘customisable’ in my view, I’ll avoid AR models from now on.
