Still a work in development the Amalgam team unveils their 1:8 version of the classic Ferrari F333SP as it raced at Le Mans in 1998. Beautiful exterior executed is mated to lovely interior detail and with full removable rear cover, the engine detail is just breathtaking. This detail doesn’t come cheap, it will set you back just north of $11,000 US.

I wonder if Amalgam has done market studies on super-high end 1/12 models? Seems like it could open up the market a bit, but I guess they’re doing fine.
