AUTOart 2020 Footprint? New and Old! (UPDATE)

** UPDATE ** We just added the official Koenigsegg Reggera Agera RS assortment.  A total of four colours are on tap!

** UPDATE ** We added the production list and sample photo of the AUTOart upcoming McLaren Senna.  Five colours will be offered.  Crossing fingers we’ll see this one in 2020!

** UPDATE ** Added a few images on the pre-production 1:18 Lamborghini Urus.  Images definitely look decent, with 360 access to boot!

** UPDATE ** We added a bunch of photos of the pre-production samples.  We even found some photos of AUTOart’s upcoming Pagani Huayra Roadster.  Enjoy!

As the 2020 version of the Nuremberg Toy Fair approaches it was only a matter of time before the heavy-weight AUTOart flexed their muscle.  A slew of new announcements and few dating to last year’s event have been unveiled.  The newness includes the classic Lamborghini Miura Jota SVR, a welcome addition to those that missed the classic release from Kyosho.  Modern Lamborghini is addressed with Lamborghini Sian FKP37.  A miss by the teak is the unique Terzo Millennio concept.

Supercar fans will appreciate another Koenigsegg entry, the Jeko announced in White and Red.  Truck and American muscle fans will see the Ford F-150 Raptor Supercrew based on the 2017 platform.  Straight-line muscle cars come in the announcement of Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.  Missing is the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, a playoff their highly successful Mustang GT350R.  Hopefully, there are a few more surprises to come.  When available we’ll add them here.

  1. George K says:

Meh. Nothing I need, especially in their plastic.

  2. Perry says:

    Ford Raptor?! That’s a surprise.

  3. MLB says:

Surprised, but happy to see early Aston Martin’s on their list. If they do a good job with body shape on the DB4GT models… I know I’ll buy at least two, and so will other collectors.

  4. Veneno says:

This is great news! Cannot wait for the DB4, Demon, Raptor, Jesko, Miura, Sian, Maybach & R34!

Hope the Miura is the post restoration version and not the Kyosho one.

  5. Pratip says:

Really looking forward to the 720S,JESKO and Regera

  6. Scorr says:

Hope they improve on the engine on the Pikes Peak Audi… that looks like ass

  7. Jason says:

I would love to buy a few of the above models, but unfortunately Autoart prices have become absolutely stupid. Everything they put out seems to be over $300. I’ve bought real cars for less than that. People involved with this hobby really need to come back down to Earth and stop thinking every model car is worth a small fortune.

  8. Bwr _911 says:

Lots of ads. the most important thing is to produce and sell… two years of waiting are too long!!!!!!!

  9. Noor Sohailyzaad says:

Buying high-priced plastic replica is a stupid job

  10. Vitaliy D says:

The big ugly split in the side part of the dasboard of AutoArt’s Koenigsegg Regera (as well as of theirs’ One:1) makes me puke.

    • Aaron says:

I can say the same about the Agera RS with that split in the middle of the front bumper. I wish Autoart had given us the Agera R & Agera S instead

  11. flathead says:

McLAREN 720S — yes! Hopefully, very soon!

  12. Craigj3534 says:

I’m up for the AM DB4 GT Continuation, but hope that the colors are correct. It shows one in BRG – but most of the pictures I’ve seen on-line are of it in a metallic light green.

    • Craigj3534 says:

Ooops! Just noticed that the 1959 Le Mans #21 version is listed, so that should be in the correct metallic light green color.

  13. ilka says:

FORD GT LE MANS 2019 R.BRISCOE/R.WESTBROOK #69 Finally, the Heritage Gulf livery! Just hope AA continues with that and releases IMSA versions as well.

  14. Philip Brown says:

Some interesting models but unless AUTOart improves their quality control I won’t be purchasing any further inventory. Sad day as I’ve bought from this model supplier since 2005 but these comp (plastic) models really are flimsy and damaged once taken out of the packaging!!

    • George K says:

Agreed. I’ve been buying AutoArts for about as long, but no more. Just bought the new Jag E-Type Lightweight and already put it back in the box. Just looks so plasticy. That much plastic makes it look and feel like a toy, certainly NOT something I feel good about having on a bookshelf in my office. For that, I’m going to my old CMCs and Exotos. Those, I take pride in owning.

      • Roshan David says:

The plastic is terrible I tried to get used to the material but it’s just cheap and to light. Great new subject matter that would be more compelling if made from diecast.

  15. anzony says:

I ask me if Audi S1, EB110, Skyline R34 or Miura will be diecast or plastic? If they are plastic I won’t buy anyone of these. Hope for more news about these items.

  16. Adrián I. says:

Please release the bloddy 720S and Senna!!!!

  17. John says:

Does the length of the wheelbase, and especially position of the front wheels, on the SVJ look odd to anyone?

  18. Mal Nicholls says:

Hmmm, Those rally Quattros have already been announced last year including in January on their own facebook page. What a crock Autoart, Instead of re-announcing something, how about actually producing them in the year they are announced. Won’t hold my breath in seeing these for another year or two.

  19. Alex Rosell Artiz says:

Some time ago it was said autoart was making the Koenigsegg One:1 carbon gold, there’s news about that?

  20. Mike Wiseman says:

Anzony everything autoart does now is composite. The Skyline R34 is re-release of a popular diecast model from autoart so you it’s composite. Thankfully i completely lucked out somehow catching the diecast R34 V-Spec II in bayside blue at about half going asking price about 2 months ago through a diecastmodelswholesale dented box auction on ebay… brand new unopened..chaching. I’m not totally against the switch but it has affected my opinion of a few of my models. The shutlines and gaps are tighter and the body itself is thinner which makes it more true to scale. Plus as far as newer exotics and supercars go the real cars don’t use metal for body either… the paint has gotten alot better on their composite series and i dont see the rash and bubbles associated with diecast. However some of them do feel cheap and flimsy and the squeaky sound that comes from squeezing the car as you pick it up or place a door in the proper shut position is horrid… it will forever become a sound associated a legendary auto model company that not only switched to composite, but reduced their efforts towards interior and engine compartment details while multiplying the price. It’s also a little sad that this will be the 3rd release of the 1/18 scale Nissan skyline gt-r r34 V-spec II. One in performance series without front door windows, then the (upgraded version) in millennium series, now in composite. The composite will probably cost new what you would have to pay on ebay to get the old versions anyway. Bring it on Almost Real… give them a few years to get their selection up and if their future releases, and prices, progress on what they’ve shown so far. Good bye Autoart. Rant over.. sorry for read

  21. Robert says:

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh… Nothing like reading obscenities about AutoArt plastic this and plastic that. of course no one has had ANY problems with cars that had diecast cancer or even that notorious paint rash that develops after a couple years, right? RIGHT? I have and badly on some of my most expensive items, and yes even an AutoArt Aston Martin. THAT my friends is our real foe here. NOT plastic. So get over it already. We’ll see how plastic reacts over time, I’m betting it’ll fare a lot better than that beloved cheap shit metal most diecast manufacturers use. Weird how almost every manufacturer has problems with paint rash and Maisto seems to have mastered that. I have yet to see a Maisto get paint rash, much less that metal cancer, there might have been some, I haven’t seen any. That said, I look forward to those Corvettes and most late model musclecars, finally!
