AUTOart is showing us the presentation version of the upcoming McLaren 720S GT3 #3 car. The livery is definitely grand, but it still can’t find the fact this example along with the solid earlier featured colour samples is completed sealed. Wait for this one in your local discount bin.

A great looking car, but very disappointing that it’s sealed!
“Wait for this one in your local discount bin.” I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that happens eventually. Sealed models from a model makers that usually makes models with opening parts feels nothing but 2nd grade cheap efforts. Just to make an example, even though it’s being pushed at sub 50€ prices on CKmodelcars and Modelissimo, I’m still not convinced to buy the little Lotus 3-eleven. That car has one thing that opens basically and that is the engine bay, and Autoart still couldn’t be bothered to make that happen. The full price for that model was a stupid joke and the model itself is far from perfect even as a sealed lump of plastic. The mesh covering the air exaust on top of the nose should be ribbed but it’s flat instead. I couldn’t find a single photo of a real 3-eleven with the same design for the stalks supporting the rear view mirrors, and of course the usual horrid rubber seatbelts and buckles.
I bought the Louts in question, less than $100 CND. Discount bin!
The Autoart NSX GT3 is sealed and that seems to sell at a premium…just sayin’.
Autoart = Mclaren = Over done. Please make some Mercedes again!
I just keep reading the comments under some of these announcements, which I greatly appreciate by the way (the announcements) and can’t help but LOL. The narrow mindset of some just blows my mind away.
