We can’t remember the last time we saw an Audi in scale from AUTOart. The team is set to release the R8 FIA GT GT3 Plain Color version in Red and White, perhaps there are some livery cars in the works? The R8 is shown in production Red. Overall the model looks solid. Boo to no access to the front or rear compartments. Suggested retail $189 CND.

Ooooooh man does this look great in red. Much better than the white version. The side views are to die for.
We get no access to the motor, but at least we can see it. I don’t expect the detail to be great, and what little i can see of the interior is worrying, even by stripped-down racecar standards.
Still, I want this, and will likely add it along with the black Corvette C7R in a spectacular breakdown of impulse control.
