A couple of new releases are heading to stores this fall. The first is 1:18 Bugatti EB110 SS in French Racing Blue. I can now retire my faithful Bburago release! The second, possibly late due to the earlier effort from LCD Models is AUTOart’s version of the McLaren 600LT in Sicilian Yellow. That Sicilian Yellow exterior is truly spicy!

But, these are resin?
As defined by AUTOart, both from their Composite and Diecast series.
AUTOart doesn’t use resin, their models are made of ABS plastic (which they falsely advertises as composite material)
I’m impressed at how much more refined the 600LT looks than the earlier images. Maybe LCD’s excellent effort has made them lift their game. Still a shame about the screw in the middle of the sill, AA need to stop with that nonsense.
I’ve posted elsewhere on the Bugatti; it looks like the paint is too thick or shiny. And that makes it look really plasticky. They need to dial it back a notch.
What they placed in the middle of the sill is a small magnet to keep the door shut. But this is a particularly silly location seems like a complete afterthought.
Seems like Autoart has put in a lot more effort into the 600LT and I’m guessing that’s because LCD is giving them a hard time. That EB110 looks very promising, at least in the pictures.
