The wait for the AUTOart 1:18 Pagani Huayra Roadster is almost over. The European division confirmed the first of three colours will hit the market in September of this year. If you cannot tell from the photos the first official release in Rosso Monza. Based on the series of images the model looks quite capable with full access and luggage with active storage on board. Where is brilliance diminishes is the lacklustre exterior colour of Rossa Monza with Gold wheeks, definitely not our first choice.
Who will win the Pagani Huayra Roadster wars? The LCD Model version is catering a lot of fanfare based on price and diecast metal exterior (which in this case is not aligned with the exterior carbon fibre process of the Pagani Huayra Roadster. Sales have been brisk though, the first batch of models are almost sold through, don’t panic, another production run is due in October. And finally, where is Almost Real. They would definitely add another dynamic to the already full stomach…

That Rosso Monza color seems spot on. It’s a red/orange, though not a huge fan of it being paired with gold wheels. The whole setup is very Italian. Ducati has similar color combos. Imo the colors reminds me of the Scuderia Rosso color from Ferrari.
Don’t worry folks, still plenty of carbon fiber textured plastic on this one too! LOL
The colour of the wheels looks horrible. The whole car remids me of the Zonda F i have from Top Speed. That one looks horrible to, so i painted the wheels ofc. I will by the LCD version insted of this one. Who wants to by this one if you can get a diecast for 100 euro less? Just saying.
“Where is Almost Real?” Good question! They cannot win the Huayra Roadster War if they don’t enter the arena before the battle is done. For me, one Huayra Roadster in the collection is enough. And buying one model and reselling it if a better one comes along later, is always at a loss. Not buying the LCD or AA upon release and waiting to see how the AR fares is dangerous too. If the AR is significantly better, it’s price will skyrocket. If not, the remaining AAs and LCDs will go through the roof. And if having bought an AA and the far more expensive AR is not better by the same margin that prices suggest, I wouldn’t buy it. If only AR could share some pictures of their efforts to justify their customers’ patience.
