AUTOart New Porsche 911 & Second Colour SE Jota!

A couple of April 2022 deliveries have just been announced by AUTOart.  Photos here provide a look at the production version of the 1:18 Porsche 911 (991.2) GT2 RS Weissach Package White and 1:18 Lamborghini Diablo SE JOTA in Viola SE30, the latter shown last month in White. Both models here offer the end-user full 360 access.  It’s been a long time since Porsche fans have seen anything new from AUTOart, we can’t understand the gaps between releases and the epic assortment of Porsche replicas still left untouched by AUTOart.  Truly a miss, and from our perspective a licence to print money with the infinite list of resin and static examples coming to market.  AUTOart PLEASE rectify this!

Would be so amazing if AutoArt can remake the Carrera GT in composite, since the original example was not one of their best models and also the real car is made from CF so the composite won’t be a bad decision. To extend the list it will be super cool if they produce 993 GT2, 993 RS Clubsport, 964 Turbo S, 934, 904, 906 so many awesome models that need the AutoArt touch. Why not Jaguar XJ220 and Mercedes CLK GTR and finally a familly of ZONDAS!

    • Sponge says:

Almost Real already will make the Zonda’s. They seem to be way better than AA quality so no need for them to produce them

      • DS Team says:

They are overall better executed from exterior to interior side.

        • Sponge says:

That’s what I could see from the pictures. Do you have any info on the next Zonda variants release ?

        • MRM says:

Well, that’s largely debatable and not necessarily my personal opinion. And at almost twice the price of AA, kind of not quite a fair comparison. If AA is willing to make a Zonda with the quality of my Chiron Sport for the same price (of the Chiron) then I wouldn’t look twice at the Almost Real. The quation here is not if AutoArt can make the model as good as the AR, but why are they choosing not to make Zondas. I am willing to bet that there are some behind the scenes games going on, which we’ll most likely never really know about.

          • DS Team says:

Yes, personal opinion. We have both Almost Real Zonda and AUTOart Chiron in-house, based on both being released in 2021, Almost Reak is quite better in refinement on all aspects, again in our opinion. And yes, you will pay more for the Almost Real model. Are each worth it that is for each individual to decide.

AUTOart has had the opportunity to action many Pagani models overs the years, some are great, touching on brilliant (older select pieces) while others today are just good.

Yup, look at the latest Shenanigans with the Auti RS6 Avant C8 LOL

  2. Patrick Timmermans says:

    Pre-ordered both:)

  3. HENRY CHEN says:

Why not the SSC Ultimate Aero, SSC Tuatara, Bristol Fighter, Lamborghini Silhouette, Lamborghini Jalpa, Saleen S5S Raptor, Aspark Owl, Maserati MC20, B Engineering Edonis, Lotus 340R, LIster Storm, KTM X-Bow, Monteverdi Hai. These have not yet been made in 1:18 with opening bits, and in fact, most have not been made in 1:18 scale at all.

  4. Dave B. says:

AutoArt nailed the wheels, tires, and stance on this GT2 RS. Would love to see them use the same on any upcoming GT3 RS Weissach releases. Preview images I’ve seen for the upcoming GT3 RS Weissach show an alternate wheel, but those were photos of the real car, and not AutoArt pre-production prototype photos.

  5. David says:

Few things can be done better. Headlights and taillights mainly. But it is something Aa will address in future 991.2s.
