AUTOart Pre-production Koenigsegg Agera RS & More!

New photos of the AUTOart 1:18 Koenigsegg Agera RS in Chilli Red with Black accents have been made available ahead on production photos.  What we see so far is very encouraging and a welcomed addition to the static models in general as of late.  We also have the extended photo shoot of their upcoming 1:18 Pagani Huayra Roadster in Blue Carbon that we highlighted back in June.  She is also looking the part.  Both will be under the microscope as soon as possible.  Enjoy!

The Huayra Roadster will be competition for the Almost Real. The latter has now been given a 400 Euro sticker price. That’s CMC money, so Almost Real needs to live up to promises made through a luxury price tag like that. If AA have learned their lessons and take shortcuts and fall short of their own 2014 Huayra, they’ll probably reap most of the demand for this car.
No World Record Edition of the Agera RS, AUTOart?

    • Karsten says:

Damn, NO shortcuts recommended of course. The expertise from earlier models is all there for both cars, so please don’t fall behind, AUTOart!

Any idea what other colours the Agera will be available in?

    • DS Team says:

      Sure:

      Koenigsegg Agera RS, White/Red Accents
Koenigsegg Agera RS, Cone Orange/Black Accents
Koenigsegg Agera RS, Moon Silver/Black Accents

Just wish they came in blue/yellow accents and TURBINE WHEELS

With that said, I wonder if it’s possible to swap the turbine wheels from a basic Autoart Agera to an Agera RS

      • Tomcatters says:

Really wish they would’ve added the world record car color (burgundy with white accents?) and perhaps Black with yellow accents or so. I fear that White and silver will be too similiar to the One:1.

Precious, but the prices are just stupid, they are rising, and rising, and it´s never ending story.. For that money I could afford one week of holidays..

Time to stop, for me… Even loving them..

At this rythm one Autoart is going to rise their value to 1000€ per unit..

In the other hand, AMR Still beign Very Expensive, Minichamps or Kyosho decided to make only stupid sealed models, and other cheap brands like Bburago (Ferrari) or Welly (Good Value/Quality in the cheap range) are dissapeared..

At this point I will back to 1:43 scale or get into collect Sideshow figures of DC/Marvel, and maybe in the future will back to collect cars..

But not with this price… with 2 units of 1:18 AA you can afford the entire collection of 1:43 Salvat Supercars (Not the same quality, but to get that amount in 1:18 you will broke)

Well this may become a problem. I have two of their superb Pagani examples from 2104; Arguably the best diecast that they have produced to date. This new roadster is, however, very tempting – especially with a carbon fiber shell. So three of these – that’s the problem.

Having recently purchased their two Lambo Centenarios (both in yellow one roadster other coupe- in the low $200.00 USD-) I am NOT put off, as some are, by the resin shells, nor their pricing. The lambos are excellently well detailed – including the engine bays.

In fact I found those first two examples as good and better than other earlier metal AAs that are in my collection (maybe 20 or so) especially regarding panel and shut lines. PS: not as good as the diecast Pagani – but those who have these know what I mean,

The Koenigsegg may also be on my list. Not thrilled with the look of this exotic, but a super important example indeed. It also looks as if AA will be doing this one great justice as well.

Does anyone know if Autoart will be making a clear carbon fiber version RS modelled after the 2017 Gryphon?
