AUTOart Rumor Mill…

DiecastSociety.com sources reveal some new American muscle coming our way in 2018.  Both sporting the Chrysler Dodge marque.  The first is the absolutely 1/4 mile monster, the Challenger SRT Hellcat Demon.  The Demon is a variant based on the successful Hellcat/Challenger variant.  The Demon features a wide-body kit, V8 (punching out 840HP and 770 pound-feet of torque), making it the fastest made production car from 0-100 MPH ever produced.

The second, once again from Dodge is the last generation Viper (VX – 5th Generation).  We’re not sure what year the base model is at this point or if any future variants will be produced.  If the model is anything like the last scale Viper to come from AUTOart it will surely be brilliant.

We’re still confident the Ford GT and Mustang 350GT are in the works too!  This would make a potent line-up of serious American muscle for 2018.

Last but not least our sources hint a new car from the Hennessey Performance group, though were not sure exactly what the brand is at this time.  More to come, stay with DiecastSociety.com for the latest!

That’s great news… Hope we will not wait too long to see this beauties!

Excellent news…would have been even better were it diecast models instead of the composite ones…but atleast they have opening bits..no complaints !

  3. Karsten says:

Ford GT, great! Hopefully, an Aston Martin DB11 is in the making, too, after the resin versions are through now. A cinnebar orange one for me please.

Love both the Dodges! Hopefully the Viper is the ACR.

Would absolutely love a 1:18 VX Viper ACR. I think it’s long overdue, and even if its stellar performance doesn’t win you over, those big aero bits and endless stripe/ body colour combos are perfect for a collectible model.

…again, needs to be diecast metal.

    • Robert says:

You know metal is not in the works for these guys, right? If these cars come out in plastic with opening bits and a connected steering wheels and front wheels i’ll be happy enough to be a customer. Now, about those prices…

Great news for the VIPER !!!

  7. Aaron says:

They should make the 2014 #93 SRT Viper GTS-R that won the ALMS GT Class Championship in 2014 w/opening parts, naturally

  8. Aaron says:

Heck, Autoart should be making the Jaguar F-TYPE SVR w/opening parts as well. It seems like a crime to not do so. Enough of the resin/sealed nonsense already

    • Robert says:

There are plenty of worthy subjects out there that aren’t even looked at. But it seems we still need all the Nissan GTR ever produced in every color with every available wheel and tire combination and tuner version, oh and also every Mitsubishi Lancer, I almost forgot… I guess these must be significant. I’m also very bored of the sealed things, plastic or metal (Kyosho) for that matter.

  9. VIPERMAN says:

No news on a VIPER ACR made by Autoart for 2019 or 2020 ?

  10. Viper Cad says:

Time to build the 2014 #93 Viper GTS-R
