BBR 1:18 Diecast/Opening Ferrari F80

Thank goodness I paused the purchase of the static 1:18 resin Ferrari F80.   BBR has confirmed, and if memory serves well, they have a painted sample of their upcoming 1:18 diecast and full-opening Ferrari F80 on display at HEC 2025.  The prototype sample looks promising.

This is exciting news.. I have pass on alot of newer generation Ferrari models due to only purchasing opening, functional high end replicas. Bburago doesn’t cut it and most likely never will. I’m on the side of the fence that really like the look of the F80 as well so this should be a great piece

Agreed, not necessarily a huge fan of the real car but BBR’s recent opening diecasts have been pretty good. If they come out with a nice spec I’ll definitely look at picking up one of these.

Awesome news. It will probably be out in 2 years thou. Still waiting for the diecast Purosangue

I already saw painted prototype, and it’s looks stunning

I would prefer the f50, 488 pista or F8 tributo but I have to be happy with the f80. I will definitely add it to the collection

Maybe one day BBR will realize there is a gap and appetite for these are other in full opening.

don’t forget about 288 gto that never come up in 1:18 with working pop up headlights or even in high-end diecast.

My thoughts exactly on the 488 Pista. Don’t forget the Le Mans winning 499P. I know BBR already did it, but in resin. It should be done fully opening

Great to see BBR back at it with diecast. A bit worried for the asking price though…

I saw working and painted prototypes of the full opening f430 scuderia and 16M back in february at a salon, but still no sign of them on the official website.

  6. Greg says:

Bad choice. I’m afraid but F80 is far from best looking Ferraris (Testarossa, F430, 458, 812).

    Any updates on Diecast Enzo?
