BBR LaFerrari Aperta (diecast) Rosso Corsa 322 w/ Black wheels

A new version of BBR’s diecast with 360 access LaFerrari Aperta has been announced, this one features Rosso Corsa 322  exterior with Black wheels.  The example is a limited edition piece of 72 pieces, and we believe it is already sold out.  This one should arrive in Q1 2021, and as per BBR, improvements are likely with fine-tuning to come prior to production.

Clearly a replica owned by Michael fux before its sale at Mecum auctions

Have they said if the Aperta version is going to come with a removable roof portion or is it going to be permanently open?

I know BBR has a history of taking a while to fulfill pre-orders, but has anyone heard any updates on when the 1:18 Ferrari La Ferrari Aperta will come in stock? My status order on BBR says “Registered” and has been like that since November 2020.

Hi Ferrarifan, Nope, my pre-order is exactly the same. Under my pre-order page it says: “Available from N.A.”, and it has probably said that for the entirety of 2021. I do not think it will help to ask BBR since they have stated in their newsletter, that they will simply not answer any question about pre-orders anymore. I think the best advice is just to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. And suddenly one day it will just be available. Unless you have heard something since you posted your question.

Thanks for the reply Kristoffer. I emailed BBR about this and here is the important snip from their response:

“We have problems with the production of these model cars, the quality requested by us has not yet been achieved. The models will be in production in December 2021 – January 2022. The transport times are two months with container, so it means that they do not arrive in Italy until March / April 2022. One of our collaborators is in China for direct quality control. ”

From that message I would expect delivery to customers to be Q3 or Q4 of 2022.

        • Kristoffer says:

You are welcome and thank you for your update!

I think you are right. It sounds like we still have some time left to wait :)

Their reply also tells a lot about why it has been so long, and why the delivery on their site is just N.A.

          Thanks again :)

            Hello Kristoffer,

As of January, 3rd 2023 I have not received an email update from BBR regarding the timeline of delivery for the LAF model. The status of my order on BBR’s website still says “registered”. Have you gotten an delivery timeline updates or been able to purchase the model yet?

            Thanks,
            Ferrari Fan
