BBR New Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto

Another classic from the Ferrari stable is coming to scale by BBR, welcome their version of the 1:18 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto.  This example comes from their resin and sealed series with initial production slated for 500 units.  The production example is expected to launch in April 2022.

About the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto…  “Presented in Paris in October 1959, the short-wheelbase 250 GT Berlinetta epitomized the ideal road racer. With just a few minor touches (colder spark plugs, racing tyres and a roll-bar), the car could take to any circuit and battle it out for a class win.  The Ferrari 250 GT SWB (Berlinetta short wheelbase) is not only one of the “sexiest” cars ever but also the first car of the Prancing Horse to feature brake discs.”

This seems wrong on so many levels; on the pictures it looks a bit squashed to me, and it’s missing critical SWB details (e.g. the air vent in the rear window of the MY60, which moved upwards with MY61)

This car has absolutely nothing to do with the cars the CMC models are based on. The CMC models are based on 1961 250 GT SWB. The model above that BBR has announced is the one and only prototype from 1959 and it is accurate to the real car in all the areas that seem wrong at first glance, including the awkward shape of the side windows, no vents etc., etc..
Here is a picture of the ’59 prototype

I really don’t understand why posting pictures in replies is not possible. It is a very useful feature of the internet that should be allowed on here.
Anyway, since the above link does not work, here is the direct one:https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/800x600q90/924/PSnyqR.jpg
