That carbon decal “bleeding” on the nose is quite awful…
Apparently it seems to show on 1/12 scale models as well; that’s poor attention to detail from BBR.

  2. Karsten says:

„Last orders“ for BBR, the AR Huayra Roadster is coming!

    • DS Team says:

LOL, no matter how good and the fact it has full 360 access, some will still find faults with AR.

      • Karsten says:

Oh, yes, and everybody knows the usual suspects and will therefore discard their comments.

      • MRM says:

you guys are funny.I know a very good number of people that will still buy the BBR and don’t even care if anyone else makes the car. Guess why? Because these models target a completely different demographic than you and me.
Her are some important points I would like to make.
        1. BBR’s Huayras are selling right now for $358 (310 Euros)compared to the AR Zonda, which currently retails for $500! And altho I hope they correct their pricing, I seriously doubt it.
        2. It DOES HAVE 360 ACCESS! 360 degrees is a full circle. And you can look at any model, be it resin, metal, small or large, with active elements or without, from any angle you like.
        3. It comes mounted on a nice leather base with a really nice acrylic cover, which is exactly what a car collector (1:1), car dealer, art entrepreneur or owner of a Pagani would put on their desk, in their garage or in a showroom. And that acrylic cover would probably never-ever come off. Which is why, this kind of people couldn’t care less if anything opens. They are not model collectors. And they outnumber the available models by a huge margin.
        4. Go ahead and jump on these models for $500 a pop. Preorder them and let them sell out, raving all over the internet. Then same time next year, when AutoArt bumps their prices with a hundred bucks, you better STFU, because guess who’s fault it would be….
        5. Trying to discredit people’s comments before they are made is the worst thing you can do on an open forum, as it basically defies the purpose of such a place. That kind of attitude has brought the demise of more than couple sites.
        6. Autoart already made the Roadster. LCD did it too and it definitely did not outdo AA. I have both models sitting next to me as I write this. (the Huayra Battle Royale is in the making and it will be posted soon). BBR has been selling out of their samples. So this offering will be successful only based on price point. Because let’s face it. After I spent $300 on my AA Roadster and then almost the same for the LCD Roadster, why would I spend another $500 for the same car? $500 is more than what you buy a CMC model for. More than 30 Maistos. Or pretty much the price of three desirable AutoArt models (please don’t challenge me on this, I don’t want to embarrass anyone).
        LET THAT SINK IN!
