It’s unfortunate they’re not giving the Testarossa a Signature upgrade. Such an iconic car, and it is grossly underrepresented in the mid to high end 1/18 market. I’ll wait see actual pics to decide whether I’ll bother replacing my original from 1988, but I’m guessing not.
I agree with Keith that fresh production of a basic entry level 1984 Testarossa seems like a missed opportunity, but there are still Hot Wheels Elite and Kyosho models on offer, albeit at higher prices.
I was hoping that Bburago was going to release the new 849 Testarossa in its Signature series, but if memory serves I think it has been announced in the Polistil High Fidelity range, which is okay I suppose.
Should we expect more 2027 Bburago announcements soon? I find it odd that there aren’t any non-F1 2027 releases that are new tools (while Maisto has 5)
