We rarely report the news from Bburago as it isn’t as forthcoming as others. That being said it seems the focus is on the Bugatti marque as of late. Their latest entry into the 1:18 forum is the Bugatti Chiron 42 Edition. Though images seem somewhat enhanced the model isn’t too shabby for this entry level brand. Look for this on shelves in North America in early Q2 2018.

I reckon this 42 sec edition is a great effort by Bburago. It’s based on their earlier release of the standard Chiron in two-tone blue or red but I noticed there are those small little details that differentiates this 42 sec edition with the regular Chiron e.g. the Signature script of Ettore Bugatti on the wheel wells inside below the dash & also on both headrests. The light blue livery is also applied very neatly where it matters. All the ‘faux’ carbon effect is there too. It’s really a good looking model. The only disappointment is still the sealed engine lid but that is not really a problem for those who have a Dremel handy. Overall, I consider this model as great value for money. At this price, you shouldn’t be complaining at all or God forbid, even to compare it to AUTOart’s future release which is still a mystery at the moment.
I noticed the rims are not accurate to the actual car either. The real one had a squarish design on the rims. These are more circular that is kind of bothering me for some reason. Still a good looking model but I honestly prefer the gt autos replica instead.
