This looks like a beautiful model, but I think it’s ridiculously overpriced at $429 (as compared to the $219 price asked for Almost Real’s Jaguar C-X75 from last year)!

    • DS Team says:

Have you seen both models in person? The Pagani is far better. And detail wiese on another level in our opinion. Also, the price here is likely inflated due to demand and low production run.

      • Steven Weiner says:

I own the Jaguar C-X75 but haven’t seen the Pagani Zonda in person. Regardless of any difference in details, I find it hard to swallow a $210 difference in price between the two! I certainly don’t plan on putting out that much money for the Pagani.

        • DS Team says:

We have seen both, and price aside and as per Almost Real admission, the Jaguar is considered a baseline model and their Pagani, to steal from AUTOart is Signature level. Read both reviews, you can read and see the difference and attention to detail between the two.

        • Bob says:

@Steven The difference in price is because the Jaguar and Pagani do not sit in the same line-up. The Jaguar is an Almost Real, and the Pagani an Almost Real Plus. AR+ is the top line, and it says so on the box and card. Details are at a higher level, but so is the price. The Jag doesn’t really come close to the Zonda.

          • DS Team says:

AR suggested retail is $448 US. Just released.

          • Steven Weiner says:

Thanks for the clarification re: the difference in details between these 2 levels of AR. I wasn’t aware that they had 2 different levels. ($400-plus is out of my league, though!)

            • Bob says:

Totally understandable Steven. It is a very interesting model though, and the carbon is very high quality all around the model. In the smallest of corners. And that’s just for the silver Zonda F. Imagine this one. I collect CMC, Exoto, etc. and this one can really hold its own. But cheap, hell no haha.

  2. Mike Wiseman says:

I wonder why they keep changing the name of their website

    • DS Team says:

Two reasons. Under the AR name, we believe AR did not like the association or use of their full name with the retail website as they are not partners. The second change was pushed forward to broaden the assortment to select area or collecting or brands. If you take a look then have added LCD and Norev to their rand buying options. This is a good thing!

It looks amazing! I’m really happy and impressed with my AR Zonda F and jumped at it as soon as it was launched. A Zonda road model of this calibre have been a long wait for collectors.
I just wish AR will address and fix the sagging rear suspension which mess up the stance, especially for the launch of the Cinque models. As for me and surely many other collectors, it’s one of the center pieces of the collection and should display as one. For me, that’s the major thing holding this model back from a perfect 10.
