This month, we head over to Roissy-en-Brie, France and visit Ryser, who recently shifted from 1:43 into 1:18. Ryer has been collecting for 50+ years, NOW THAT IS PASSION! IXO Models and Revell are some of his favourite brands. Most of his models do get an upgrade. Could be interior flocking, additional motor bits or a new set of wheels.

Hi Ryser, as you may wish to see (I’m July 2013 Collector of the Month) I started collecting model cars since Í was 8 years old and now I’m 74. Í accounted more than 250 1/43 and 1/87 scale cars (Corgi, Dinky, Tekno and Sólido, among other brands) at the time I sold them back in 1967. Now I have more than 2,700 1/18 diecast models, and about 800 1/87 plastic models (Herpa and Viking) but still regret to have sold my smaller collection, because you get nothing compared with the good memories and money you spent as time goes by. Let me advise you: do not continue selling your collection, better keep them in storage for future pleasant old times. Regards
