First Look: Bburago Ferrari Monza SP1 (UPDATE)

** UPDATE ** New photos added.  Enjoy!

The car was highlighted as NEW in its 2020 Bburago Ferrari catalogue, it is the 1:18 scale Ferrari Monza SP1.  We like the results thus far!  What makes it special over its static counterparts is this example provides full 360 access. The Ferrari Monza SP1 is linked to their Race & Play series.  We should see this one in stores before the year’s end.  We can’t wait!

Nice looking Model from what I can see. It would be nice if Bburago can also make the other new Ferrari’s like Pista, Aperta, Stradale, Roma and such. Not sure why the company is not aggressive in getting these models out.

    • Aaron says:

Well put about the Pista! A lost opportunity since Mattel has shuttered it’s Hot Wheels Elite branch which is twice as disappointing. In fact, I think the 2019 AF Corse #51 Ferrari 488 GTE which won its class at Le Mans should be made in 1/18 as well w/OPENING PARTS. Unlike BBR’s take on it

  2. Scenic Gopi says:

Would be nice to have this in signature trim level. Hope SF90 and F8 Tributo are on the cards as well.

  3. Daniel says:

YES! Finally that Ferrari licence put to some use! Keep it going Bburago!

  4. everybody diecast says:

Really nice to have an affordable 1:18 Ferrari, finally. The color doesn’t look similar to the real one, I am thinking sanding it and polishing would help. The interior looks quite good. I will buy this one and apply carbon fiber decal to it. Hope 2021 Bburago can make more 1:18 Ferrari.

  5. Reinaldo says:

BBurago could make more ferraris f1 and racing GT 1/18. f1 years 70 and 80. ferraris gt3 458 and 488.

  6. Zaita says:

It’s great to see Bburago making use of their exclusive license with Ferrari. Agree with STROH, what about all the new ferraris? Understandably they make budget/affordable diecast. But I’d like to see them raise the bar for the signature series. With better quality paint work, tighter shut lines, maybe even finer carbon fibre details and proper struts instead of big dog-leg hinges. They might have a big market there? I’d be happy to pay much more for that!

    • Benz says:

Agreed. Apart from the struts, another feature that would really make a big difference are real PE mesh grilles in the air vents instead of the cheap sealed vents

  7. Pratip Polley says:

This is coming in Race and play….will it come in signature line??
