First Look: CMC Talbot-Lago Coupé Type 150 C-SS

The prototype model was first seen earlier this week at the 2016 China Toy Show.  We’re talking about the upcoming release from CMC, their 1:18 Talbot-Lago Coupé Type 150 C-SS Figoni & Falaschi “Teardrop”, 1937-39.  Wow, that was a mouthful!  The replica is shown in its early pre-production form, though you can clearly see something special starting to emerge.  No detail is left untouched, and the colour selection is perfect in our opinion.  Looking forward to seeing more of this exquisite piece!

I’ve had mine on order for what, 2 years!! Looking forward to this one!

  2. I am an owner of numerous CMC’s beautiful creations , and I await the releases of them with a pretty equal level of anticipation……..I must tell you though, once in a while a car is chosen by CMC that is a particular favorite car, or type of car in my personal list of desirable wants. In choosing this particular Talbot- Lago Coupe they have nailed it “with a bullet” !! I find I have been checking the internet for pictures and info on it since the 1st whiff of the possibility of its creation . Lately I became disenchanted because I was no longer seeing new information. I sadly thought that for some reason the Talbot-Lago had been scrubbed or put off for a much later date. Now that I see pictures of what looks like a first build I am heartened and saving for my very own !
