You may have seen some photos of the white circulating on the Internet, well today it’s official, Kyosho will be releasing 1:18 Lamborghini Aventador SV in White and Red as featured. These new models are from Kyosho’s OUSIA series (sealed diecast), which promise improved detailing over their initial release (Lamborghini Veneno). More emphasis has be placed on headlight and taillight detail and adding more photo-etched parts. Looking good Kyosho!
So I raise the question? These models are progressively cheaper retail wise than a resin model. A typical GT Spirit model is roughly 99 Euro, the current Lamborghini Huracán from Kyosho is selling between 69-79 Euro. WTF? Wasn’t the move to resin from diecast made to help lower and stabilize the hobby with the ever ending retail hikes? Or is this what the powers that be want you to believe as they strengthen their margins?
