The team at Laudoracing-Models give us a first look at their latest project, the 1:18 Fiat 131 Abarth. This is a first for the Fiat 131 Abarth in 1:18 scale, well LS claims so… Model is due Summer of 2017. Let’s hope for a good assortment of colours to follow.

Kyosho produced a series of very nice rally versions of the Fiat 131. They did not do any of the road cars (which were confusingly called the Fiat Abarth 131 rally!) This looks to be a road going version and if Laudoracing stick with original factory colours, the options will be restricted to red and blue. I have not heard of any others, except those which were re-painted by the owners. I have a small number of Laudoracing models, and I am impressed with the standard of build quality and finish. They are of course sealed resin, but there is little chance of any other manufacturer producing alternatives – although perhaps bBurago might…..
