First Look: LCD Models New McLaren 600LT

For those adamant not to purchase a composite 360 access piece the team at LCD Models will be offering a 1:18, diecast metal with 360 access McLaren 600LT.  Three colours are on tap, they include Sky Blue, Orange and White.  We absolutely love the motor access and level of detail within the motor area.  Note the opening gas filler too!  Pricing is targeted at $125 US, and sources say we should see all three in August 2020.  We can’t wait!

On a side note, the LCD Models has also released photos on an alternative colour for their upcoming 1:18 diecast metal Pagani Huayra Roadster.  Welcome White to the assortment of colours.  Street date is targeted at late June, early July 2020.

The engine details of the 600LT looks better than Autoart Mclaren 570s. Can’t wait for its official launch.

We need more model makers like LCD. This manufacturer should serve as an inspiration and a ‘model’ to other model makers, producing diecast metal models with 360 degree access, and affordable prices. Hooray!!!!! This hobby still has a bright future.

LCD models makes beautiful models for a great price. Really nice model. I hope they release the 1/64 scale version to add to my miniature collection.

That McLaren looks superb. I haven’t bought anything in a while, but that one is going straight on my must-have list.

  5. MIke D says:

The white one looks amazing AND at half the MSRP of AA’s typical pricing structures ??? Woa – will be on my list – looking forward to a review.

  6. Mir says:

Many points for 600lt are good. But one thing is very strange. The black molding around headlight is too thick and unnatural. LCD should fix it before production.

  7. Scenic Gopi says:

I happened to see the model in light blue in person today and was blown away by how good it is. Miles better than any new Autoart models out there! Panel gaps, details, quality, literally everything stood out! The model comes with folding mirrors and opening fuel filler cap even. The carbon work looks stunning and the interior craftsmanship was out of this world. From what I remember, they even used mesh for the speaker grilles on the door cards!!!
