FIRST LOOK: Solido Future Releases!

It was only a matter of time before Solido jumped onto the “tuner” car bandwagon, and a couple of future releases feature the almighty tuned LB-WORKS GT35 TYPE 2.  This example will be offered in Orange Metallic and Mint Green and is part of the June/July 2021 deliveries. Neither may fit your theme, but it seems tuner cars are the latest craze with the younger gen.  Solido helps facilitate the need with their budget-friendly pricing.

Also, in the mix, is the Porsche 936 #11 Winner 24h Le Mans 1981, Jacky Ickx & Derek Bell, and the Peugeot 205 Cabrio CTI MK1 1989 Vallelunga in Red and White.  Each example here is completed in 1:18 scale and features a diecast metal exterior with limited access.  Please access our site sponsors to pre-order your favourites today!

I am glad to see Solido has imroved their carbon fiber work, the hood and wings are quite good! GT Spirit would have just painted those areas in gloss black yet costing 4 times as much. Now they need to get better in the wheel fitment, since it’s as bad as Top Speed’s. Hopefully they release more appealing liveries in the future (Personal choice, the orange can get tiring and the acqua is not that exciting, but I appreciate the colour. HKS or Advan liveries next, perhaps? and they correct that by then.
