Tecnomodel gives fans a first look at their upcoming 1:18 Ferrari 312 B2 race car. Based on the initial grey-wear images the model is definitely coming along nicely. No word on an official assortment of race/presentation livery. The painted sample should be available in early October. We’re looking forward to the end results!

This prototype is too short and doesn’t look sleek enough. From the rear view you can see it is modelled on the intial 312B2 design (Monaco, Holland, France, 1971) but the dart from the high rear suspension rod should be a lot longer, almost twice as long. This would just touch the white number circle, which would reach from top to bottom on the side, but width-ways be finsished before the front flare in the bodywork begins. So this area is too short, hence the stocky appearance.
