Garage 73 Now Ships to Europe, WITH VAT and Duties Included

After growing interest from European collectors, Québec-based Garage 73 (garage73.ca), a curated 1:18 collector model car store, now ships to all 27 European Union countries. Prices are shown in euros or your local currency, with import VAT and duties already included.

For European collectors, buying from outside the EU usually means a surprise at the door: VAT, customs fees and a courier handling charge on top of what you already paid. Garage 73’s new setup removes that. The price on the site includes VAT and import duties; the amount is guaranteed at checkout, and nothing more is collected on delivery. Orders ship by express courier (DHL Express or FedEx) in their sealed factory boxes.

Garage 73’s motto is “Not everything. Just the ones worth owning.” The catalogue is deliberately small and chosen one model at a time, from Kyosho, KK-Scale, LCD, Polistil and Exoto. Garage 73 is also an Amalgam Collection dealer. Some pieces have become hard to find in Europe, like the Kyosho Ferrari F40 Lightweight LM Wing, which is no longer available from Kyosho.

Looking for something specific? Garage 73’s Request a Model service tracks down particular models, including made-to-order Amalgam pieces. Owner Matt Forget answers every request personally, usually within a day.

Collectors in the UK and the rest of the world can still order by email: write to info [at] garage73 [dot] ca for a shipping quote.
