GP Replicas is once again expanding on their Formula One replicas, all the examples featured here are executed in 1:18 and feature resin bodies and some with limited access.  The feature finds the uber-cool Willians F1 FW08 – two variants are featured below.

    I’ve collected cars from 1997 from a number of years as it’s my favourite season. I believe the red mirrors for Hakkinen are a mistake but otherwise it seems okay.

    However, I modified the minichamps version of the car and removed the driver and changed the livery and this looks almost exactly the same, so I think they’ve used the same mold. That car is really difficult to convert without ruining it so it’s still a fair buy for collectors.

    What I would really like is for them to announce the 1997 ferrari f310b. Minichamps did a terrible job with the shape of that car.
