John Wick is making it to scale, well, a replica of one of his cars is.  Highway 61 is bringing forward the classic 1969 Ford Mustang BOSS 429 in Grey.  The model does feature diecast metal exterior with full 360 access.  We should see this one on shelves in July 2019.  Suggested retail $124.95 US.

Quite disappointed with this. The stance, proportions and almost everything do not look right.

I would settle for ACME’s Boss 302 instead.

erm… is it really the same mold, as white Boss pilot car by ACME?
What have they done to it to make it look that bad?

The one in the movie is a Mach 1 of 1969. Possibly a 428 cobra jet or a 351 Cleveland. It is not a 390GT. Using an authentic Boss 429 and tearing it apart would be I’m sacrilege. The mold used is the same as the boss 302 of ACME and the old highway 61. In fact it will be sold as this brand, not as a greenlight. The photos are pre-factory units and are not 100% real. I have a hemi cuda rosa of greenlight / highway 61 and it is 99% equal to my old hemi cuda of highway 61 and the new boss 302 of acme.

      Greetings.

At first, I alsoo thought John was driving a Boss. Apparently it’s not so. The car should be a GT390. The Magnum wheels probably got us all wrong as we are used to see the Boss cars running on them. I have a GMP Boss 302 and it looks very good, well finished and gets the stance right. I don’t know sometimes Greenlight is supposed to be the same company but rarely gets its stuff right. For similar prices i expect at least GMP-Acme quality.
