Budget-friendly, KK Scale is back with an August 2025 delivery. The team is bringing forward the BMW 3er E46 Sedan, based on the 1999 model year. There is also one service in the mix. Colours are Light Blue Metallic, Silver, Black Metallic and White/Green for the police vehicle.

The biggest problem of KK SCALE models are unrealistic small wheels / tire aspect ratio. I was looking for this BMW for a long time but the funny looking wheels have discouraged me from buying it. The positive is that they don’t forget to add rear window heating unlike their Opel Omega.
What a pity that so many great cars like AR 155, Opel Omega, this BMW 3 sedan from KK SCALE doesn’t seem realistic due to such basic details that can be easily and, I think, cheaply solved :-(.
They aren’t perfect but offer OPP entry into the hobby. And most of their assortment focuses on rare and unique pieces too. This one could be a neat project for someone with some half decent skills.
Probably you are right. But even in this budget price, I think it’s a pity to make these things unreal. Especially in case they produce rare cars as you wrote. BTW it’s interesting that these rare diecasts were relatively common cars in the time of their production.
Sloppy. Better to save up $25 more and buy some Otto.
