One of the most iconic cars of all-time is once again being scaled down by our friends at Kyosho. New variants of the Shelby Cobra 427S/C will be released in 1:18 scale this coming November. Two colours will be issued, Blue/Yellow Line and Grey/White Line. The 427S/C is completed in diecast with opening parts. Suggested retail is $135US.

These look the same as the last update by Kyosho. What’s different besides paint?
Not sure, there was no information related to “updates” on the press release I was sent.
Instead of make new colors make new mold and parts, this models doors never fixed that the first release also the mufflers.
They should fix the over-scale plug wires on the original. I have that one in Guardsman Blue with white stripes and blank roundels. Cost? Around $60.
I’ve never had a kyosho cobra 427s/c that a part didn’t break off or fall. Crooked head light, and bad paint job. Had a kyosho car that had a door-handle made of paper with a decal covering. Or maybe the door handle was all decal.
I own the White with Blue stripes (M# 8045W) for a number of years now, no issues.
