It’s not too often we see some mid-level diecast scale representation with opening bits. Kyosho went to the vaults to re-fire the 1:18 Alpine A110 mould in race and street trim. Coming this July will be the 1973 Tour de Corse #1 and 1:18 Alpine A110 in Blue Metallic. Suggested retail $164US each. From their 1:43 diecast series comes the Volvo XC60 in Red Metallic and Black. Suggested retail $48US each. The Alpines are due this coming July and the Volvos in June.

The stance and wheel camber on these Alpines sucks. Kyosho just can’t build any good diecast anymore.
atalante a raison , l alpine n a jamais eu ces roues arrieres avec ce deport aussi negatif , de plus elle est beaucoup trop haute
Incredibly, the old Alpine 1600s by Solido, which was a budget-model, still manages to be better than this … Kyosho is over now.
And you can expect the Solido to return at very competitive prices – very soon. Under new ownership (Ottomobile) many old subjects are returning to the market. Some have had the tooling upgraded, improving quality.
Same with Shelby Cobra. Solido is way better in proportions.
Weirdly, Kyosho’s 1/12 one is much closer to real car proportions, but their 1/18th is a joke.
True. I own the Cobra, in Guardsman Blue with white stripes. Beautiful model, excellent base for a improvement operation.
The hinges on the trunk are after years not changes… THE ARE TO BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
Edit: The –> They ;)
