At a recent gathering of manufacturers of scale models, the team at LCD Model had their upcoming 1:18, diecast metal with opening parts Huayra Roadster on display. The model was announced back in September 2018 and now the progress of their version is maturing well. We think LCD can be player, as their past hits featuring the various brands in the luxury SUV market are stellar examples. And their price point is on the mark too! LCD Model will be definitely giving the likes of AUTOart, Almost Real and KengFai a run for market share in the Pagani segment. Thankfully there is some light at the end of the tunnel for diecast metal with opening bits.
Product# TBD
Well, well, well, seems like a good alternative for the Almost Real Huayra Roadster that will take an eternity to be released. The Huayra will have been discontinued by then.
LOL!!!
If the keep their price ranges I thought is better brand than AMR in price/quality and more looking the AMR Amg Gt-R..
Looking forward to get this, the Velar, and the RanRo..
Most of us are, though we wonder if pricing here will follow their recent SUV releases. No doubt they can produce a solid model.
Great to see more and more models with opening parts especially when they’re not made of plastic.
I think the final price of the model is high again. It doesn’t make sense to me to celebrate the diecast here when the original car is made of composites and carbon :-)
Based on our understanding the first production batch has sold through, this will definitely inflate the pricing. As per their European division (thankfully someone responses to email), a second production of the model is due this October.
