We first highlighted the new Looksmart 1:18 Ferrari 126 CK Canada 1981 back in April. Back then it was in the early stages of production, a grey resin sample. Today we have the painted sample to share. At first glance she’s a true looker, but on closer inspect there seems to be a heavy element of the “plastic” look. Hopefully the production model will provide the required realism we all grave.

Very toy-Like. Especially what looks like the painted-on rear suspension members.
For a brumm 1/43 it’s great – for a highly priced 1/18 it’s terrible.
Indeed guys! This sadly is looking more and more the future of the hobby! Instead of quality metal diecast models with removable/openable parts we are being given the “privilege” of owning sealed plastic models.
of course some details need to improve, but in my opinion, compared it to the BBR model, the quality looks the same but at half of the price, so I prefer this model
