About the BMW 2500 (E3) 1969 “New Horizon”…  “New Horizon project is a piece of art with a message. Both the car and its design should tempt you to reflect on change and challenges – about new horizons.  The artist was born in Bielefeld in 1953 Heiner Meyer’s works have been shown in more than 200 group and solo exhibitions worldwide. His paintings and sculptures are in numerous public and private collections. His work is considered particularly sought after in the American market.

The famous BMW E3 model used for this piece of art was a milestone for BMW 50 years ago and is a symbol of challenge and successful change. The E3 – full of then innovative and groundbreaking technology – was introduced in 1969 This was a time of change: people entered the moon for the first time, quit a new age and expanded our horizon.
