It was then upgraded by the factory at the personal request of Enzo Ferrari (signed letters in the history file) when it was only 6 months old and featured some very special features including a 135-liter fuel tank, a unique style dashboard and the engine from 2001GT, which finished 4th overall and won its class at Le Mans and achieved 3rd overall in the 1960 Tour De France. Owned later in life by famous collectors Lord Anthony Bamford and Eric Clapton, the numbers match, Ferrari Red Book Classiche certified, simply one of the most important GT Ferraris on the planet!

Yes the color is very attractive, BUT…. There are many real car experts and known Ferrari Historians who would disagree with the model dealers ‘claims’. Additionally, I doubt that Tecnomodel has changed the dashboard details given that this model in these photos is shown WITHOUT the stated “driver and passenger headrests.”!!!!
I realize that the reason why the promotional information is written this way is to sell models! But that does not diminish questionable statements, and missing/inaccurate areas on the model.
