GP Replicas needs to look at photos of real Formula One cars before approving models for production. Formula One cars, for the most part, have front wings that are nearly touching the ground. But GP Replicas cannot seem to produce a Formula One replica where the front wing is down low where it should be. Release after release they produce great looking models that are entirely let down by front wings/noses that are unrealistically way too high.
By the same token, it’s a shame that Minichamps didn’t tackle some of these cool models 25 years sooner in 1/18 when they had rolling wheels. It’s a shame now that both Minichamps has partly taken the same Resin path as GP Replicas. What BS! I hate to think how many die cast collectors they are scaring away because of this. But that’s just my 2 cents
I would go for the fw18 but it’s more satisfying to buy the old minichamps version and improve it yourself
