More on Diecast Masters 2019 Ford Mustang

Fans of true diecast metal models with full opening bits are getting a closer look at the upcoming 1:18 Ford Mustang based on the 2019 platform from Diecast Masters.  We shared our thoughts with DM, they are to focus on shutlines, panel gaps and overall authenticity. The team has also plans for the Ford 2017 F-150 Raptor.  That would be neat!

Will thw collector be able to take all the body panels off or what’s that’s meant to suggest in the pictures?

I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for now, so I wouldn’t go that far. If that’s true however, this is crazy and probably the first in the industry aside from Exoto XS, as fas as I know.
Still, my piece will be the Ford F-150 Raptor they are (or will be) working on. If they get the details right and the overall quality is good, I’ll pay high prices if that’s what it takes.

No, just initial tooling and fitment trials from what we gather

  2. Karsten says:

Really? I haven’t seen body panels fitted separately to a chassis like this before. If other manufacturers do this, too, it’s at least strange to show it in teasers. Still makes me wonder, why this is being shown with its panels off unlike other manufacturers who show the assembled car.

This model made by GMP or Autoworld

  4. Stephane Demers says:

    That suspension is sooooo high…

  5. Gerry Williams says:

This is definitely going on my list to go into my massive mustang collection when it comes out.
