Would be nice if they could make the first Daytona coupes in 1:18. They made them in 1/43. Exoto didn’t make those.
Sorry to say, but these TSM Cobra Daytona models are flawed. I had five(5) different versions by TSM here to look over. Below is a copy of my brief review published in American Car Collector magazine.
“TrueScale Miniatures (TSM) strikes again with their new (and more on the way) Daytona Coupe models. Ten versions so far, and split between at least three chassis numbers CSX2286, 2287, and 2299. Maybe the other three will be produced too? Nice models with a lot of very fine detail, and a good attempt in many areas to differentiate each, but they are also fraught with inaccuracies. Yes, they do look like the cars to a degree, but overall length and height dimensions are significantly wrong, and their Viking Blue color (too dark) is wrong – better suited to a Toyota.”
