For those that just can’t get enough Ferrari LaFerrari in scale, the BBR team has issued a new version of their 1:18 metal and full-opening Ferrari LaFerrari. This one features Red with White accents bits and a Black roof. Also, interior-wise, note the 5-point safety belt. The production here is limited to only 82 pieces worldwide.

These models are great- a “proper” metal diecast from BBR, well executed and detailed, BUT- BBR is clearly “milking” it for all it’s worth with these NUMEROUS limited editions. They even put CMC to shame with the number of editions: there was red (with black roof), then red with red roof, them yellow with either roof, and before all that some had something different yet – not sure if wheels, or interior, or who knows what. I like the white stripe, though will not be getting UT because it looks silly on a real car, and I am interested in models because of real cars, not in models for their own sake like toys… for those few who still do not have this one in their collections- I’d recommend it without reservation as BBR’s is the best LaFerrari among other models. Seriously can you blame them? There are different strokes for different folks. Having an assortment of different colours and variants is a good thing. And in the end, they need to capitalize on their time and investment… Simple business. Also, as collectors, we all need to relax on the marketing side of limited editions, rare etc. We all know with BBR, their production runs are usually temporary, and patience has always been a key element to collecting. Again, just our opinion.
Also, all of the “numerous” limited additions are actual cars. They usually provide the information about the actual car on their website.
I’m pretty sure they can sell as many as they can make in the different colour schemes the real car was made. Not in my designated per model budget bracket but I like it a lot.
