Norev is back with an alternative exterior for their diecast metal and full-opening Porsche 911 (964) Speedster 993. This is noted as Polar Silver, much better than the initial Beige-like offering from earlier this year.

Looks great. I wasn’t aware of a “beige like” offering of this model. Perhaps you are referring to the 911 Turbo Look Cabriolet that Norev released recently – if so, that too is a gorgeous color – Zermatt Silver if I am not mistaken.
I agree, in the flesh Zermatt Silver is a warm gorgeous color that stands out.
That 964 speedsster deserves a better color option than yellow, mint or silver.
Yes, my mistake. I will add this one and the other, IF they bring back in different exterior.
If past is prologue then I am confident that more colors are on the way from Norev. Hopefully you will find something to your liking.
I’m still unsure about these. I’m glad I didn’t throw myself on one of the initial narrow body models, as they all come with wheels with undersized bolts.
I would like a light colour (to then highlight some panel lines in flat black acrylic paint, for more realism) on a wide body version, but inconsistencies in the black trim in the area between the fenders and the bumper at the front put me off. Also the fitment of the bonnet/hood in the back is not great, perhaps it’s fixable by unscrewing it a bit so that it can sit a bit more flush with the rest of the body and then adding some shims or a bit of plasticard to avoid rattling etc.
At the moment I would say I’m still waiting for the turbo in a lighter colour.
